POST-TOURNAMENT QUESTIONS & THOUGHTS
1. Here's hoping that Brad Stevens stays at Butler. If Kyle Singler stays at DUKE, then DUKE or Michigan State (if Izzo doesn't take the $$$ from Oregon-ha!) should be preseason #1; but, Butler should be no worse than in preseason top #5. PG and I may have to order tcikets for next season's Butler- Loyola game now.
2. From beginning to end, the best NCAA tournament ever? Will expansion ruin the tournament?
3. Oliver Purnell takes over the DePaul job!? What does Clemson do now. What about once again going to Dayton and hiring Brian Gregory for the job?
And of course, "Go to Hell, Carolina, Go to hell!!
ONE SHINING MOMENT!

I don't understand Philly getting rid of McNabb, but I truly don't understand a trade to a division rival. Philly is basically telling McNabb that he sucks and we are not afraid of facing you twice in a season.

From Now on, I Am Rooting For ....
these five teams.
1. Fighting Illini- especially the hoops team. I greatly enjoyed the fine run by the team in the NIT. An "A" for effort to those super student-athletes. C'mon, the U of I is my state school, so I have to root for them. Yes, I have too. And super-knowledgeable fans!!!
2 UNC- do I have to explain my love for Carolina!? Dean Smith- a god!!!
3. Cubbies!! Anyone can be a White Sox fan, but to love the Cubbies, that takes personal courage. To be on the same team as Rod is such an honor.
4. Boston Celtics- from the green uniforms to the fact that they just don't have enough championship banners!! Doc Rivers- genius coach!
5. Minnesota Vikings- Brett Favre and indoor football!!! How can life be any better!?!

Chicago Baseball Update!!
Opening Day Rosters are being set, with the Cubbies releasing Kevin Millar (you can have him back, Boston) while the White Sox sending Dan Hudson and Brent Lillibridge back to the minors. With a little more seasoning, Hudson will be up with the team. Hopefully, we won't see Lillibridge before the rosters expand to 40!!!
I do miss Milton Bradley!

NOT ONLY WAS IT SELECTION SUNDAY....
I love Selection Sunday! Not only do I watch the selection live on CBS, I then watch the 15 plus hours of discussion (not gonna call it analysis) on ESPN.But there was much more going yesterday than just Selection Sunday.
LT picked the Jets over the Vikes while the Broncos decided the stage a quarterback battle between Kyle Orton and Brady Quin.
But, most importantly, especially for my married friends, yesterday was "Steak & BJ Day!" Hopefully, you all found time to celebrate. Personally, I did not get to quite enjoy a "Steak & BJ." Had a burger and watched an adult movie. Maybe next year!!

RB Chester Taylor and TE Brandon Manumaleuna are in, and according to reports, the deal with Julius Peppers is being finalized.

Bulls Trade Salmons for ????
I wish I could comment on the John Salmons trade, but I'm not sure who he was trade for.Yesterday, reports were Salmons to the Bucks for Kurt Thomas and Francisco Elson.
Today, the reports are Salmons to the Bucks for Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander.
Okay, this is what we know, Salmons for two expiring contracts.
Go ahead, clear salary cap space. But then you better sign some big name free agents in the off season.
