With the Indians' victory over the Royals, the "lead" is down to 3.5 games- and I have officially given up any hope. I am sure that this is more of a defense mechanism on my part- I would rather be pleasantly surprised if the White Sox hold on then hugely disappointed. Oh, who am I kidding, this just sucks!

  2. Took two of three from the Twins despite scoring only 4 runs in 3 games. So I guess you could call them "opportunistic." Or you could just say they beat the punchless Twinkies.

The Twinkies are a good team. The Sox just need to get a streak going before post season--if they can get there. Watch out for the Yankees. I'm worried about them.

  5. And the Twins are NOT a good team. That is like saying that the Ravens are a good team -- they are 1/2 of a good team. Sox are 4 up in the wild card, so that is something.....

I predict that the Sox will win the division and go on to win the World Series. No need to worry. The Sox will hold on.
