Proving what a class act he is, A.J. has sent me and all of you a thank you for getting him into the All-Star game! As an additioanl thank you from the Polish American community, I have included a picture of Joanna Krupa, a former Chicagoan who I 've must have missed at all the Polish nightclubs in the city. Extra credit for anyone who can name what Comedy Central program, Joanna was once a prominent member of!!

  1. No idea, but I will say that it is a sad comment on the baseball knowledge of Chi-town when they feel rag-armed A.J. is more deserving than Liriano. Well, when Tom Kelly comes in and cleans up the Cubs next year maybe you'll grow to appreciate the Twins system!

  3. She was a Juggie Dancer on the Man Show--one of the greatest shows ever on television! Although I was never a big fan of "girls on trampolines", the episode with porn stars was perhaps the greatest ever. Remember the helpful household hints from porn stars sketch? Priceless!!!!

  5. I think it is a disgrace for Manny to bow out of the All-Star game. He was voted in by the fans and owes it to them to be present at the game. I can let him pass on playing in the game--as a Red Sox fan I am more concerned about how he does in more meaningful games--but he should at least show up at the game and tip his cap with the rest of the players. Last I heard, he was not going to make the trip to Pittsburg. Such conduct does not sit well with me. It should not sit well with any fan--even with those darn Yankee fans!
