No. Chilly says that he's not going after a veteran QB. It scares me to death. Bollinger is merely a third string QB, and the Vikes didn't give Tavares Jackson any reps (except running the scout team offense) until the last three weeks of last season.
We desperately need a QB, and Garcia would be the best suited to this offense. I could also live with the Vikes trading a 5th round pick for David Carr (but not extending his contract).
Touché.
ReplyDeleteWith a QB, you'll have a shot to win the Super Bowl (and, no, Rex Grossman does not qualify as a QB).
In that regard who will QB the Vikes (Brad Johnson released)? Is there any talk about the Vikings going after Jeff Garcia?
