Waiting for HM's "Suspend Favre" Post

If Jay Marioti was still writing (yucks!), we know that he would continue to take the moral high ground and call for the suspension of Favre. HM-upset with the Commish's light treatment of Big Ben, could only mean that he would strongly support an immediate 4 (if not longer) game suspension of Brett Favre, right?

Farve should not get suspended. It is not harassment unless she tells him to stop. Also, how did he get her personal phone number in the first place? She probably gave it to him. He is guilty of nothing other than using his own phone to send the text.

Is there a text telling him to stop followed by more inappropriate texts? If not, it is not actionable. And, she never complained to anyone with the Jets, which means she either didn't care or just found it funny.

  4. Ben basically raped a 21 year old drunk college chick in a men's room -- after he had criminal charges narrowly avoided in another matter.

favre's ridiculous decision to send out picks of his limp schlong is not to that level.

Now, if the massage therapist narcs on him, he probably gets suspended.

  5. Yeah, I don't think Favre should get any more than a game, if that. Maybe a huge fine for being stupid. Sterger looks just like his wife, Deanna, when she was in her 20's though. Maybe he got confused. LOL! Have you seen a side-by-side photo of them?

I think he has been punished enough for this stupid story to come to light. The alleged "victim" doesn't seem to care, so neither should the NFL. As to the massage therapists, unless there is concrete evidence that they told him to stop and he continued, there is nothing there either. Nobody should be punished for trying to hit on a girl. It sends the wrong message. This isn't a Mark Chmura situation.

  7. Badger- I think you are way off on this story, and when I get a chance I will post my thoughts.
