I suspect this will end badly. All-stars rarely fit with their former teams as managers. In fact, with the exception of Kirk Gibson (who has the luxury of managing a team in the crappiest division in the majors, its been a long-time since a big name all-star was really successful as manager. (Apoliogies to Ozzie-- he was the exception, not the rule.)
