Chicago should be proud of the White Sox parade and celebration rally. Despite a quick acceleration of the parade date, preparations were near perfect as over one million crowded the streets of LaSalle to be covered with shreds of newspapers and cheer as double decker buses carried the team with families (including hot wives and girlfriends), coaches and staff. As I stood on the corner of LaSalle and Adams with tens of thousauds of my closest friends, we were not just North siders or South siders, but proud Chicagoans. I will never forget during one of the Bulls' championship celebration, listening to New York based sportswriter, Mike Lupica exclaiming something along these lines, "Big Deal, go ahead and celebrate your NBA championship, but don't call me until you celebrate a World Series championship!" Well, Mr. Lupica, Chicago did a splendid job celebrating its World Series championship. Now tell me which city has won a World Series more recently- Chicago or New York!? Which City has won a NBA championship more recently- Chicago or New York!?

New York. I think the Giants won a Superbowl with Eli Manning.
