I had refrained from any postings during the World Series out of fear of jinxing my boyhood team. But today, on the day of my nephew's 7th birthday, the White Sox win two games in one day and win the WORLD SERIES!! Growing up on the South Side watching Wilbur Wood, Richie Zisk, among others, I nevered even dared to dream that this day would happen. Thank you Ozzie, Kenny Willliams and a team that I enjoyed watching all season (even when a 15 game lead almost faded away). Chicago!!! South Side!!! White Sox!!
