Another valiant effort by the wild-card Yankees (they didn't even win their division but somehow they are up 2-0!!). Again this one was not easy,
falling behind again and then surrounded by a very hostile crowd seemingly upset over what they perceived to be the wrong call by the home plate ump!! Valiant!
As Hawk would say: "Keep it going boys!"

As a Sox fan, I'm so bitter about the Twins that I'm actually rooting for the Yankees (and I hate the Yankees.
Part of my frustration is that I had a feeling this would happen. The Twins seem to always dominate until they make the playoffs and then, like clockwork, they collapse. That's partially what's aggravating about them making the playoffs. It's a waste.
We can all root agaisnt the Yankees again in the next round.
Exactly. I've also found myself rooting for the Phillies for some reason. Not sure why... I still want the Rays to win though but I'm becoming increasingly pessimistic.
The Rays have just looked awful. Awful!
