Jim Thome- Future Hall of Famer? Barring injuries, he should finish with over 500 career home runs.

Yes he shall--and will!

On another baseball note--for those lucky enough to have attended the Cubs-Reds game yesterday, April 12, we were able to see one of the greatest pitchers of our era or any era in action. Maddux pitched a great game enroute to his 320th victory!!!!! He should be about 10th on the career win list by the end of the season. There is not another pitcher--with the possible exception of Clemens--who has been so good for so long. When will we see another 300 winner? It will not be for a very long time.

It is great to see good baseball being played on both sides of Chicago. Go Sox! Go Cubs!

Eloquent as always, daddy3dog!!
BTW, I have attended attended 4 Major League games so far this season-is that too many?

There is no such thing as too many baseball games! The more, the better.

Thome is a hall of famer--as is Albert Belle, although he'll never get in.
