What!? I just cannot believe that Pamela and Kid Rock could not make their marriage work!

Caught some of E!'s "30 Biggest Celebrity Feuds" this Thanksgiving weekend (I needed a occassion break from all the football and college hoops that I watched) and Nikki Ziering was one of the "talking heads" commenting on the program. Reason enough for posting a picture of her! Hope you enjoy!

Britney! Britney! Britney! Alright, now that you got rid of K-Fed nka Fed-Ex, we know that you want to prove to the world how sexy you; but, you are the mother of two, so at the very least wear a thong!

Jayhawks upend #1 Florida!
Those of you who went to sleep after the USC-Notre Dame football game, missed a early season classic hoops game as Kansas defeated #1 and defending champion Florida in OT. There is no doubt that Kansas has sufficient talent to make the final four, especially if Sasha Kaun ever plays close to his potential-however, this team has suffered first round exits the last two years of the NCAA tourney. In fact Kansa had this game wrapped up in regulation and nearly let it slip away with stupid fouls. One wonders if Bill Self finally get it done at Kansas with all this talent?!

USC- Notre Dame tonight. Domers have been waiting for this rematch since last year. USC just wants to stay in the hunt for the BCS title game, Michigan fans probably want to see USC win this one and then have USC lose to UCLA. Hopefully we will ahve plenty of shots of the USC cheerleaders!

Ah, wondering where to sign up?

D3D, perhaps you can purchase this item on ebay?
Larry Coker out at the U of Miami! It is hard to believe that someone who won the national championship just 5 years ago gets fired after a .500 season. Then again, it is difficult for me to feel any sympathy for Coker who will get betwenn $2 and $3 million in a buy-out!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Yes- Marquette beat Duke last night, but let's stop calling this an upset! In the ESPN/USA Today Poll, the Warriors were ranked #17 while Duke was #8. In the AP, it was much closer as Marquette was #13 and Duke held the #9 ranking. With the two teams ranks so close, this early in the, this was at best a mild upset. This was not Oral Roberts beating Kansas! As I told AFG, Marquette is a damn good team and Dominic James put on a stellar performance. I could rip plenty on Duke's performance, especially McRoberts' lilly-assed play inside. However, I don't want to take away from Marquette and let's leave it at: "Go Warriors!"

I used to think that Heidi Klum was the sexiest pregnant chick that I ever saw (at least celebrity wise), but Jaime Pressley loos pretty damn hot here!

The Pussycat Dolls! One of the things I missed by not watching the American Music Awards!

Let's not forget the traditions of Thanksgiving- the true reason for the holiday!

Packers sign sucky QB to back-up Favre. What, Packers couldn't find Jeff George?

I don't know about you, but I am already stressing over the holidays!
Did the Cubs overpay for Soriano?
Did the Blue Jays overpay for the Big Hurt?

Huh? What's going on here?!
Unfortunately, Michael Richards aka Kramer failed to learn from the famous episode of Seinfeld where Jerry found a unique way to deal with a heckler.

The 2006 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Hollywood Tuna.com has a plethora of great pictures from the VS Fashion show. I had to post this picture with Justin Timberlake enjoying the benefits of well, being Justin Timebrlake!

A day before THE BIG GAME, the legendary Bo Schembechler dies from a heart attack. While, as far as I can recall, Michigan never won the national championship in football under Bo, his famous words "A Michigan man is going to coach Michigan" and firing of Bill Frieder while Michigan's AD, on the eve of the 1989 NCAA tournament was key in Michigan capturing the basketball crown. Frieder would have over-coached that extremely talented team long before the title game!
RIP, Bo and GO BLUE!!

It worked- HERE'S JAIME!!

NBC has returned to its "Super-sized" portions of its hit sitcoms that worked with Friends, at least until that "jumped the shark." So, My Name is Earl, The Office, and 30 Rock will all exceed 30 minutes. And if you need a reason to watch "Earl", I offer you the wonderful Catalina. I tried to download a picture of Jamie Pressly, also on the show but the dang computer kept messing up!
NFL Hall of Fame cuts list of nominees down to 25. I will give you my rankings of the nominees from 1-25.

Santana wins 2nd Cy Young Award in 3 years- best PLAYER in the major league? I don't understand "baseball experts"! You ALWAYS hear that pitching is the most important part of the game. That the reason that the White Sox and Cards won the last two WS is because of pitching. Santana is clearly the best pitcher in the game right now (okay, at least until the Red Sox shell out over $80 million for that pitcher from the Far East) winning the Cy Young yet again. So therefore, Santana must be the best PLAYER in the Majors-right?

The White Sox and Cubbies make a trade. Here's hoping that this trade turns outs as good as the Garland trade did for the Southsiders.

Nathan Vasher's jersey at an exhibit at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, after his 108 yard missed field goal return agaisnt the 49ers last season. I'm guessing that Devin Hester's jersey will be added right next to Vasher's after he tied the record with his return agiasnt the G-Men!

A dare to my readers- please find me a better picture of Jennifer Aniston than this one!
Oh sure, they make the "Brokeback Mountain" movie, but a lesbian lovers movie-no! http://popsugar.com/64148
Bobby Knight hits one of his players, you know what that means!? It is the official start of the college basketball season.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip- a big disappointment. One of my favorite television programs was Aaron Sorkin's short-lived "Sportsnight" (lasted 2 seasons, but available on DVD). Likewise, the first 5 seasons on "The West Wing" was some of the best stuff on network television. Therefore, I was pretty excited that Sorkin was returning to tv with "Studio 60." he critcs rave about it, if fact the critics will tell you that you are an idiot if you don't like this show. Well, screw the critcs- this show is bad! If you are working at the White House, I can allow for people to walk around have constantly have moral discussions, but not backstage at a comedy show. Oh by the way, not once have I laughed at any of the jokes on the fictional "show within a show." Now those of you who know me know how liberal I am, but the excessively leftist slant of this show makes me sick!! Not even the guest appearance of John Goodman (how much does he weigh now!?) on the last two episodes was enough to save this program. I can go on and on about the things that are wrong with this show, but suffice it to say I am kissing this show good-bye (see how I worked in that picture of AA!!). I will keep Tivo-ing "Heroes" on NBC, but "bye-bye "Studio 60" unless the show gets a total overhaul!!

Ramblers!! Loyola defeats the Princeton Tigers despite getting only 6 points from Blake Schib!!
http://sports-att.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=263140163

First of all this is a SPORTS story! If this story is true, it is great to be a qb! The college quarterbacks I knew, John W and Jeff W both got more quality ass than a proctologist, so that is reason enough to believe this story. I heard on "PTI" that Dallas Cowboy starting QB, Tony Romo, went on a date with Jessica Simpson, when she heard that he answered her name in response to a question about who was his fantasy girl! Unfortunately all I could find on the internet is that Jessica went on a date with a different kind of professional!

Bad news for the White Sox? Tigers trade for Sheffield.

Congrats to JD and Joe Crede on picking up Silver Slugger Awards!!
College Hoops is here! The Loyola Ramblers, a favorite to win the Horizon League (an awful name for a college conference), tip off tonight agaisnt the Princeton Tigers. Sorry, I can't provide much insight since I know didly about this year's Princeton squad. The Rambles with be without 2 starters, Majak Kou and Kye Pattrick. Hopefully freshman Andy Polka and redshirt freshman Matt Adler (listed at 6-foot-11) can pick up the slack. GO RAMBLERS!

Of course the team from Jersey won last night! A great day for Rutgers, but a bad day for the Big East (even if Rutgers finishes the season undefeated, the Scarlet Knights will not play in the BCS championships game) and the end result will probably be more complaints about the BCS!

Nice work by the Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders! Me thinks Borat would like!

We are now only 2 days away from the start of 2006 NCAA Soccer Tournament. Soccer-so what!? Cut me some slack as my two alma maters are both in the tourney. Here's hoping for a DUKE- Loyola of Chicago title match! Oh yeah, Bucky, you will be glad to hear that UIC is also in the tourney.

Granted, having never been married, I may not be the best person to give anyone advice on this subject. Nonetheless, John Daly, considering the fact that you are now divorcing wife #4, you should consider that possibly, just maybe, you are not the marrying type!!

So Illini fans are furious at IU coach Kelvin Sampson and recruit Eric Gordon who de-committed from his ORAL commitment to U of I and instead deciding to sign with Indiana! Today I read that Munster Indiana High School point guard Mike Bizoukas decommited from Norther Iowa and plans to sign a letter of intent with DePaul! Yet no seems to be screaming over a lack of ethics by Bizoukas and DePaul on this one. Huh!?

Just posting some pictures that Doogie Howser would probably not enjoy.
Since I am among the first to bash on the Illini, I thought I should be man enough to give credit where credit is due. Having seen him play in person, I can say that Illini LB J Lehman is a hell of a player!!

Doogie Howser is gay!!!!??
A generation after being part of the trade for Ryne Sandberg, a Wrigley Field favorite returns to the Cubs! Ivan DeJesus has been hired as a Special Assistant to Manager Lou Pinella.

Why doesn't Tony Parker marry her already!?
SOME QUICK SPORTS NOTES: Well at least we can now stop those silly comparisons to the '85 Bears. The Bears have much larger concerns than a blemish to their previously perfect record. What about a second poor performance by Rex Grossman? What is Urlacher's health status? Is the reward factor with Devin Hestor returning punts worth the all the risks?....Luckily for the Bears, they play in the NFC North so the playoffs seem like a sure thing; however, playoff success is a whole different story...You have to say that the Colts are clearly the #1 team int he NFL, but which team in #2? The Bears? Several teams stand at 6-2 including the Pats and the Broncos... Saw the #1 college team, Ohio State, in person as the Buckeyes sleepwalked to a win over the Illini. Hopefully for Buckeye fans, that effort was simply an aberration for an otherwise dominant team.

Bulls unable to stop Dwight Howard. Great start to the season is now okay, good start to the season.

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

From SI.com, I saw the following: Brad Johnson will remain the Vikings starting QB this week, but coach Brad Childress warned that his low tolerance for turnovers is "non-negotiable." -- Minneapolis Star Tribune. Oh yeah, because Bollinger is great option! Maybe Al S. will get his wish and Don Strock will return. BTW, where the heck is Gus Ferotte?

Bulls 108 Heat 66! Not a bad start to the season, not bad at all!!

Awesome Halloween costume!
