Jon Garland and Matt Thorton combine to paint a pitching masterpiece shutting out the Texas Rangers, allowing ChiSox fans to breathe a little easier for the moment. DON'T STOP BELIEVING!
Sox fans have plenty of reasons to be nervous- including the Twins (what happened to the Tribe this year?)!! HUGE series coming up with the Twins at the Cell!
WHen I saw the Twins at the Cell earier this year they looked AWFUL! How things have changed! Not to state the obvious but the WHite Sox and Twins have been moving in opposite directions. THe Sox will be lucky to win one game int his series (based on recent results, how can any Sox fan be more optimistic than that!?). Joe Mauer is a stud! If he stays off the DL in his career, he should make people foreget about Piazza, except for the fact that Piazza played in LA and NY, as opposed to Minnesota!

Twins within 3 of the Sox. I'd be nervous.

Are all Sox fans required to watch "Cellular" or Jlo's "The Cell" before they enter "The Cell" to watch the Twons sweep them?
Twins wallop the Sox in Game 1 -- now within two games of the Sox. Comments? Predictions?

Mauer joins Kent Hrbek and Matt Birk as elite hometown heroes. The amount of play he's got to be able to get has to be nearly unimaginable.
