From ESPN's John Clayton, more on Drew Henson (some team will pick up a former Michigan QB, right?):
The only reason Drew Henson wasn't cut Wednesday was because the Cowboys wanted to check out his trade value. Considering his base salaries are guaranteed, don't expect any team to make a trade. That means he could be released as early as Thursday. It's pretty clear Henson never thrilled Bill Parcells -- and he controls who plays and who doesn't play in Dallas. Jerry Jones traded for Henson and thought he found his quarterback of the future. Parcells favored Tony Romo as his backup and wasted no time trying to convince Jones to sign Drew Bledsoe to try to take them to the playoffs. In the past couple years, for whatever reason, Henson got worse in Dallas instead of better.

Hamstrings! The big sports story of the day will be hamstrings. Of course the national focus will be on T.O. and his pulled hamstring in Dallas training camp. (BTW, what happened to one-time QB of the future, Drew Henson, who will not make the Cowboys roster!?) Personally, I am little more concerned with Jim Thome's injury which is officially listed as a "day-to-day" situation. BTW2, it looks like Herm has lost 2 or 3 pounds!

It looks like Barlow's new coach is making him apologize to his old coach.

RB Barlow, he ain't too smart. Okay, if he thinks that 49ers head coach Mike Nolan is a dictator, what is he going to think about Belicheck disciple, Jets head coach Eric Mangini?

Brittany Muphy can't keep a guy! The best part of this story is the claim that the couple went on 17 dates before sharing their first kiss!! Well, I guess you can have sex without kissing, but......

Ozzie made two, somewhat risky moves, that lead to yesterday's victory over the Royals. Dusty Baker? Well, he has been showing up to the games!!

Beyonce! A couple of weeks ago, someone came into my office and upon seeing a picture of Beyonce on the cover of Giant magazine, intially exclaimed "Wow" and then upon a closer examination and learning that it was Beyonce, added: " I don't like what she is selling." Take a good look at these pictures and let me know if you like what Beyonce is selling!!

Here's more on Bruno Kirby, courtesy of the great site, The Internet Movie Database,

Rumor has it that the Cleveland Browns will attempt to play without a center! THe Browns will petition the league office for waiver so that they can start each offensive series with the QB holding the ball without the need of a center snap. The Browns should never have traded Jeff Faine, even though he was from Notre Dame!

I am sure that this news will be eclipsed by something more important in the world of entertainment, like a sighting of Lindsey Lohan's nipple or Jessica Simpson holding some unknown dude's hand, but the world should take notice that one of the all time great character actors, Bruno Kirby has passed away at the age of 57. Kirby, most recently doing a great job in an episode of "Entourage" appeared in one of the greatest movies of all time, "The Godfather-Part II." As if that wasn't enough, he was outstanding in one of my favorites, "Donnie Brasco" plus: "When Harry Met Sally", "City Slickers" and "Tin Men", to name a few.
The world's worst anti-smoking campaign.
More importantly, some damn good reasons for posting pictures of my girl, Alexandra Ambrosio.

Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson to separate. Now, I really don't care that these two are going their separate ways. There are two reasons why I am posting this. First, Kate Hudson continues to be the most overrated actoress in Hollywood. C'mon, when was the last time she was in a movie that was a complete bomb? Almost Famous? That was in 2000!How many bad movies has she been in? About 10!? Second, what do women find attractive about Chris Robinson and even worst, Travis Barker?

Here's hoping for a "Super-effort" from the White Sox this weekend agaisnt the Detroit Tigers! If the Sox lose tonight, we will have my law partner, "Coach" to blame who will be in attendance with his wife enjoying the amenities of one of the Cell's skyboxes. The last two Sox games that Coach attended in person resulted in losses for the Sox. My personal track record is much better, including last night's victory over the Yankees!
Florida owner Jeffrey Loria fired manager Joe Girardi on Sunday, but before the announcement could be made, Loria reconsidered. -- Rocky Mountain News
If this story is true, then it is too bad that Jeffrey Loria "rehired" Girardi. He would be a perfect fit for the Cubs and a perfect reason to fire Dusty immediately!

Ozzie v. Dusty. Ozzie after being ejected from yesterday's game: ''What did I say? I can't say,'' Guillen said of his somewhat staged ejection. ''Whenever a manager gets kicked out, you feel like you let down your team. But you have to do what you have to do, and I will do anything for my ballclub.'' Compare that to Dusty when asked about what he would do if he gets a one year contract next year- "Well, I have a decision to make too." Ozzie: " I would do anything for my ballclub." v. Dusty: I don't know if I want to be here.

Starbucks. I love the coffee (an Iced Americano in the summer) and when I feel like cheating and having some carbs, the classic coffee cake at Starbucks. But for the most part I hate the people who work there and the customers there! C'mon, people, I know this is not your first time at Starbucks plus you are standing in line for 10 minutes, so why do you have to wait until you get all the way to the front of the line to say "Now, let me see, I think I will have a non-fat latte, no a skim vanilla...." Make your order, pay the person and then move out of the way!! And Starbucks employees, I am not at Starbucks to socialize with you! There are plently of people in my office to waste time with, just give me my COFFEE!!! Finally, the damn tip jar! I have been told that Starbucks employees get great benefits! For the most part all they are doing is pouring some coffee for me! If any one needs a tip before a Starbucks employee, it's the pimple faced kid at McDonalds working the deep fryer!! I mean if the barristas looked like this lass, I would fully understand the tip jar!
