In what has been a disappointing year for White Sox fans, the #2 highlight of the season (behind Buehrle's no-hitter) occured on Sunday, just two days after one of the worst most embarassing days of the season. Javier Vasquez pitched his second straight complete game followed by the White Sox signing Mark Buehrle to a contract extension. Even Jay Mariotti was forced to write a complimentary article about the Sox!!

Mark Buehrle rules! He should have made it to the All Star game, but the bullpen had blown five leads for him this season. Because the White Sox had been playing terrible
baseball lately, finally there is someone who gives Javier Vasquez some recognition. Great job, K.
