You didn't want to see Alex Avila and whatever middle reliever got named to replace Mariano Rivera?
When 65% of the guys in the game are unknown to me -- a decent sports fan -- the MLB really needs to do something to fix the game.
I suggest that if you are too tired or hurt to go to the all-star game and play two innings then you get a 5 game "mandatory rest" from the Commissioner.
I am Ok with starting pitchers who can't actually pitch not having to pitch.
