Let me provide a "defense" that I know really isn't a complete defense, but I have said it before:
Weis has done a decent job of recruiting. He will have a .500 club at the end of the year despite having NO quarterback and NO running back (or guys who should be basically D-II at both positions).
He has recruited a 5-star running back. Top 5 back in the country. The only question is, can he do something to ditch Jimmy Clausen. Jimmy Clausen is killing him. He allows sacks, he throws INTs, he misses open receivers. You can't win with a QB who provides so many negative yardage plays.
He won with Brady Quinn and loses with shitty QBs. He just needs to find another Brady Quinn and stop hitching his wagon to Jimmy Clausen.
