Somewhere, Al Davis, is smiling. As Al S. told us, Lane Kiffin has the reputation of being an ass. Well, the latest is the report from a South Carolina recruit ("Game!.....Cocks!....Game!....Cocks") and his high school coach that Kiffin told the recruit if he signs with South Carolina, he will end up pumping gas along with all the other USC grads! (I'm wondering, don't they have self-serve pumps in South Carolina?)
Kiffin is, of course, denying this report. Okay, why would the kid and his high school coach make this story up? And based on what we do know of Kiffin, how could you not believe this story when you hear it.
At the very least, Kiffin might want to actually win a game in the SEC before he pisses off every coach in the conference. And somewhere, Al Davis is smiling.

Is the insult here that ALL SC grads end up pumping gas? I mean, if he said, "We are a much better academic school" would he be getting ripped so much? Is it just the pumping gas reference?
Please tell me that Steve Spurrier isn't claiming that he is offended by recruiting tactics (like, for example, recruiting 10 WRs, 9RBs and 6QBs to Duke and "suddenly" deciding that 90% of these guys were all defensive players).
