IT JUST GOT EASIER FOR ME TO HATE THE CELTICS!

While it is certainly vogue to rip on A-Rod and other baseball steroid users, I got to tell you that it is hard of me to think of an athlete I dislike more than Stephon Marbury. What a selfish, useless waste of space!
Now I know some of you have a man-love for Kevin Garnett (I am talking about you, HM), but I can't imagine that man-love would be so intense that you would root for Marbury and the Celtics!

MANGINI GETS RIDS OF KELLEN WINSLOW, JR.

ESPN is reporting that Winslow was traded to the Bucs for draft picks.

IN BETTER NEWS FOR THE BULLS...

The Bulls visited President Obama at the White House yesterday.

NORM VAN LIER- LOVED BY BULLS FANS, YOUNG AND OLD

I was stuck in the car for about 2 hours today, so I got to listen to callers with their stories about Norm Van Lier. One caller recalled meeting Stormin' Norman when he was about 10 years old in line at a McDonald's with his dad. After asking his father who the familiar looking person was, his father told him it was Norm Van Lier. His father introduced himself and his son to Norm. Norm asked the young kid if he played sports and the kid told him that he was in Little League. The father and son sat down at a booth to eat, when the kid felt a tap on his shoulder. It was Norm, who asked if he could sit down and eat with the two of them. They talked about Little League about sports.

I have been lucky enough to run into Norm a couple of times at sporting events and the radio promotions. I took a photo with him at one of those events and that picture hangs in my office.

RIP, Norm.

Sad Day in Chicago- Norm Van Lier Has Died

As someone said on the radio this afternoon- "Norm did not like to miss a party."

Hopefully, the Bulls will now retire his #2.

More on Stormin' Norman later.

Giving Up Coffee for Lent? Ah, no!

In the past, I have tried to give up coffee for lent. But that never works out real well. Caffeine withdrawal is not fun. Now there is another reason why I am glad that I am not giving up coffee:

But I may give up Starbucks abnd $2.50 for a cup of coffee.

33 Points for the Illini- CONGRATS!!

When the Illini scored 36 points against the Gophers, I was told that the Gophers were a very good defensive team.

Therefore, the Penn State Nittany Lions must be a GREAT defensive team!

In response to the fact that President Obama is a Chicago White Sox fan.
"We got to get him a Cub hat over there," Piniella said. "We can sneak Chief Wahoo over there."
(Reporters wondering what the ?)
"Who is it?" Piniella said "Yeah, Ronnie Wahoo."
Lou meant Ronnie Woo-Woo.
