HINES WARD- HALL OF FAME? While I don't like his muscle flexing after almost every catch ("No, I don't have tickets to the gun show!"), Hines Ward is definitely one of my favorite receivers in the NFL. he may not of the stats of a Chad Johnson (although he does have some decent stats) he play on a run-first team and he blocks as well as any receiver inthe league. If I had a Hall of Fame vote, Hines Ward would get a "thumbs-up" from me.

Hines Ward is not a Hall-caliber receiver, and does not have Hall stats.

He plays really hard and overachieves for a player of his size, but that's doesn't qualify him for the Hall.

I suspect that if he were as much of a malcontent as other, better receivers in the league (e.g., Owens & R. Moss), you wouldn't view him so favorably.

I agree- one of the reasons that i like him is that he doesn't behave like Moss or T.O.!

To support K's position -- http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20060203/news_1s3afcnotes.html. Ward with more catches and yardage than either Swann or Stallworth.

The Hall of Fame spot should be reserved for Charlie Batch.
