15. Tim Brown- a great pro, but #10 is a little high for his college career!
14. Eddie George- I'm a big fan of Eddie George, but based purely on his college career, there are better college running backs on this list, including Ron Dayne.
13. Desmond Howard-it gets difficult at this point in the list.
12. Eric Crouch- a great college quarterback and winner. After college a complete loser.
11. Carson Palmer- 33 TDs and 10 picks
10. Matt Leinart- again great stats, but surrounded by some great teammates.
9. Ty Detmer-anyone who beats a Domer ("The Rocket") is okay in my book.
8. Jason White- an incredible college quarterback- 40 TDs!!
7. Andre Ware- his stats were so incredible that he won (barely beat Anthony Thompson of Indiana) even though most voters barely saw him play!
6. Ron Dayne- alright, Wisconsin fans, Dayne was incredible in college! Maybe he doesn't deserve all the hero worship in gets in Dairyland, but just because he has been a bust in the pros, let not rewrite history re his college career!

If only Dayne got a chance to play . . . And, while we are on the subject, if only Sherrell Ford got a chance to play . . .

Jason White was horribly overrated. Andre Ware put up big stats against virtually no competition -- why not just put David Klinger on your list and pretend he won the Heisman?

Andre Ware's stats- 4,699 yards and 47TDS. If opposing teams knew that he was going to throw on every down, why didn't they stop him?
