Next time you wonder if David Stern was to harsh in doling out the punishment after the most recent NBA brawl- read John Feinstein's book "The Punch" or consider this under-reported story about Bulls prospect, Martynas Andriuskevicius, who remained in a hospital after being punched by a teammate in practice! This ESPN story does state this, but this account I read this morning in the Sun-Times states that Andriuskevicus was near-death!
