When the White Sox resigned Jermaine Dye, rumors were rappant that the ChiSox would go after Hunter. The Great Ozzie has always liked Hunter, Dye and Hunter are friends, and it would be great to steal Hunter from a division rival, especially those losers in Minnesota!
A columnist in the St. Paul paper said a couple weeks ago, "Look for the Twins to re-sign Hunter, or, if not, to fill his spot through free agency or from the minor leagues."
Wow, brilliant. Fortunately the Twins don't plan on playing 8 guys in 2008!
