There is enough Sports news to report on without talking about the congressional hearings, so the K-Line will give you a break at least for today.
1. NCAA investigates major violations by Indiana University basketball programs. I can hear the chants coming from Bloomington all the way up to Chicago: "Bring Bobby Knight back!"
2. Looks like Jason Kidd is heading (back) to Dallas.
3. On Saturday moring, UIC Badger told me that he thought that Purdue was the best team in the Big Ten. Since then, Purdue beats Wisconsin in Madison and then beat Michigan State last night, as the Boildermakers sit atop the Big Ten

Purdue is for real. They lost one game to some nobody team at the begining of the year, but they have shown themselves time and again. They certainly have the Badgers' number!
On the flipside, it appears that UIC has Loyola's number.

Two fans at IU's recent home game wore "Bring Back Bobby" shirts. I would imagine that those would spread.
Heard on the radio this morning that these fans were asked to remove the shirts or leave. Don't know if that is true.
