1. While I disagree with PG that Bruce Pearl is the best college b-ball coach in America (second best basketball coach at his own school!)- what a great hire for Tennessee several years ago!! He has already done something no one else has ever done as Tenn's men bb coach (no, not painting his chest orange)- a #1 ranking. Illini fans still hate him- but tell me honestly Illini nation whom would you rather have as you coach: Weber or Pearl. 2. Speaking of U of I, you got to give Weber at least one more year. See how he does with next year's recruits, including the transfer from Kentucky. 3. Northwestern basketball- just a lost cause? 4. Watched "We Own the Night" this weekend. Pretty good cop drama. Have to recommend it if for no other reason than the opening scene with Eva Mendes. More erotic than the late night stuff on HBO/Cinemax. 5. Finally, Jennifer Walcott deserves at least a once a week pic on the K-Line. Don't care what you say-that's what I am doing!!

I agree with PG. Right now, Bruce Pearl is college basketball's greatest coach. The Badgers blew it big time by hiring the wrong UW-Milwaukee coach (he was an assitant for Bo Ryan at UWM). K, there was a time when Coach K or Rick Pitino were the greatest, but I think they have become complacent. Coach Pearl is a great X and O coach and has great team spirit. The players really want to win for him. On a side note, Pat Summit is a good coach for the women's team, but that's just women's sports. I think PG was referring to the real coack of U Tenn.
