BOTH SIDES OF TOWN WERE SHORT-HANDED IN THE BULLPEN ON FRIDAY. The White Sox were able to overcome this problem, the Cubs were not. For the second game in a row, the Sox overcome major deficits with late home runs- beating the Tigers in Detroit. The Cubs at home, fell 3-2 to the Marlins when a over-used bullpen sans Wood received a very un-Wrigley-like lack of offensive power.
Overheard a the Cubs' game yesterday- Seating behind a father with his son (about 7 years old). Father tells son: "That's Dan Ugga. He lost the All-Star for us. It's because of him that we won't have game 7 of the World Series here (Wrigley)" Gee.

Actually untrue. I am pretty sure the AL scored on single, single, walk, sac fly.
Ugla, as bad as he was, didn't cost his team the game.
I was going to correct the moron (none of Uggla's errors lead to any runs)- but he was with his kid. Why should the poor kid suffer because he dad is a total moron.
