You got to be kidding me? You fire Jeff Capel for Weber! Half of Illini Nation would personally drive him to Norman, Oklahoma. Weber, if OU would seriously offer you the job- take it! If you stay at U of I next year, you will be on the hot seat, so why take your chances.

Agreed. A lot of Illini nation wants Weber gone because they believe he can't recruit and the senior class from last year was a disappointment. Also the contract of U of I's AD is expiring this June and the AD may want to bring in his own coach. Weber should leave for his own sake.

I still find it hard to believe that Oklahoma would want him- but if they offer him a multi-year contract, he should run out of central Illinois! If he stays at U of I, I think he has to make the Sweet Sixteen to keep his job!
