So Long, Mark Buerhle- A Class Act

Marlins sign veteran left hander to a reported 4 years $58 deal (that is way too much!).

Perfect game, no-hitter, World Series Champion and 2 time Gold Glove! The thing I may miss most about him was I loved going to games he started- since he was probably the quickest working pitchers on the mound. Some of his games were over in less than 2 hours. He will be even better in the NL. Hopefully he will pitch often against the Cubs and continue to kick their ass!!

And for the record, I have no problem with the White Sox not matching that contract. That is why too much for a pitcher his age. His last deal with the WHite Sox was 4 years $ 56 million. four years older and two million more!

I am glad he is out of the AL and will no longer face the Twins.

I don't think the Twins need to worry about the White Sox for a long time--unless Adam Dunn somehow hits 60 home runs this year, together with Rios' 40.
