Pops is back in the hospital so that keeps things in perspective.
Since the Bears (see you Caleb Hanie and take Jerry Angelo with you!) stink, I had to find happiness in other games.
1. Kyle Orton and the Chiefs knock the Packers from the Undefeated! Earlier int he day I saw a kid (in church no less!) with this on his sweatshirt- "Driving undefeated on the road to the Super Bowl." Ah, no!
2. Finally, victory for the Colts. Good. The 0-16 record should be the exclusive province of the Detroit Lions and their dumb-ass fans!

I assume she is a magical creature who can help bring happiness. Maybe she is a Billiken?
How ironic that a former Lions QB would lead the Colts to that win!

I just don't get how the Bears did not even consider drafting an aging veteran QB as a backup or third string. For example, the Bears could have tried trading for say, Charlie Batch of the Steelers.
