How about the odd fixation with Texas A&M? I have looked at their schedule. They have beaten almost no one (OK State in College Station is an OK win). They lost a close game to UCLA, but c'mon, Stanford beat UCLA. They lost a close game to LSU, but LSU has been so bad that it dropped out of the top 25 this week! Nevertheless, they stay at #8 this week while Texas Tech is unranked.

Agreed re the Texas A & M fascination. I wouldn't be the least surprised if some voters are confusing Texas A & M and Texas Tech!!
