POSSIBLE EXCUSES:
1. Totally forgot about the shot clock.
2. Didn't want to score more points than the Arizona Cardinals might score in the Super Bowl.
3. C'mon, we playing the Gophers, it's not like we are playing a good team-oops.
4. You really get tired walking around that Mall of America place.
5. That "Four Corners" offense really looks like it might take off, let's try that.

6. Gophers "D" is about the best in the country, even if they don't have any offenisve studs.
Were hurt by Jordan's kid putting up a "6 trillion" (6 minutes, no stats).
Jordan's kid was recently put on scholarship- good thing, because there is NO way his family could afford to pay his college tuition!
Didn't want Tubby to go to Alabama, so we pulled back.
