Congrats, Jim Thome on Home Run #600!
Pictured is clearly my favorite home run of Thome's 600 home runs.
I'm pretty sure that Thome's milestone home runs happened as follows:
#300- with the Indians
#400- with the Phillies
#500- with the Sox
#600- with the Twins

Greatest hitter of the ALCentral? I would think only Manny might be viewed as someone who played a good portion of his career here and was as good at hitting homers as Thome.
Added amusing fact: despite playing for teams that hate each other, EVERYONE ('cepting Ozzie) LOVES THOME! That deserves some props!
BTW-- my favorite Thome HR? The walk-off last year against the CWS. :-) (Didn't hurt you as much as the game 163 shot hurt me, though.)
Obviously, you were joking that Ozzie didn't like him! Ozzie was one of the first guys to tweet him congrats. Greatest Al Central hitter of all time? Doubtful. Frank Thomas clearly better- 2 MVPs. I doubt Thome ever made top three in the MVP voting. I would have to check. Greatest HR hitter in the AL Central- yeah, probably Thome (not that Frank Thomas was that bad). Manny will probably remmebered more for his Boston years than his Cleveland years, whether that is right or wrong.
