Good Work, White Sox Coaching Staff

Ozzie, Greg Walker and the rest of the White Sox staff has gotten plenty of criticism this season, a good amount of it well deserved.

But Ozzie Guillen, Joey Cora, and Don Cooper should be applauded for pushing Jake Peavy's start from Satyrday to Sunday giving him an extra day of rest (8 innings of shutout ball) and calling up Zach Stewart to earn his first MLB victory on Saturday. The move lead to the White Sox getting a 3 game sweep of the Twins in Minnesota.

I'll admit I was skeptical of Stewart.

I had pencilled that game as a loss. Hope Stewart looks good in his second start.

Congrats. Put a fork in the Twins. Our GM has no idea what he is doing...

Well, the White Sox have been very generous hosts (that what Al S. whould say- of course he is silent ater this sweep- those are the Twins' fans that I bitch about, not you or HM) that it was time for some payback. I wouldn't put a fork in the Twins yet. Because this is the weakest division in MLB. Hopefully the Tigers will fold again like in 2009.

No biggie. We got two more series left, including a double header, I believe on Labor Day weekend.
