I was pretty impressed with Kinney's performance last night which makes me wonder: did Reinsdorf make a critical error in deciding to spend more money on veteran players instead of bringing up a lot of young talent? Think about it: Flowers, Stewart, Humber, and Kinney have all played above expectations. What else is down there in AAA?
Daniel, you bring up an excellent point, which I have thought about. And you didn't even mention DeAza, Lillibridge or Dayan Viciedo whom we should see in less than 2 weeks. My concern is that Reinsdorf will be very cautious about spendign money in the future-which could mean that Buerhle is gone after this season unless the White Sox unload some salary elsewhere. Chris Sale could slide into Buerhle's spot.
