THE STORY OF NFL WEEK 1: INJURIES!!
1. Of course the worst injury is that of Buffalo's tight end Kevin Everett who had surgery today after a severe spinal injury; 2. Eagles' CB Lito Sheppard will miss at least one game; 3. Both New York QBs: Chad Pennington and Eli Manning were injured. No word yet on whether either will play next week; 4. Giants also lose RB Brandon Jacobs; 5. Vikings RB Chester Taylor left yesterday's game; and, 6. The Bears have reportedly lost defensive starters Mike Brown and Dusty Dvorcek for the season!! For the oft-injured Mike Brown, it could be the end of his career.
